Through unique educational and cultural exchange programs, USEFP allows Pakistanis students to study, research, and engage with international students, scholars, and professionals in the United States.
Fulbright is the flagship scholarship program of the United States, which now offers Graduate Studies in the United States. The Fulbright-HEC Ph.D. Scholarship is funded by the USEFP under the Policies & Regulations of Fulbright.
The Fulbright funds graduate study in the US for a Master’s Or Ph.D. Degree, which covers tuition, required textbooks, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance. The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan HEC manages this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
Males and females across Pakistan with strong academic careers residing (throughout the process) in Pakistan and committed to returning and serving Pakistan may avail this opportunity.
Students of all disciplines are eligible except clinical medicine. Students in energy, water, agriculture, health, education, environment, and climate change are strongly encouraged to apply.
For the Master’s Degree program, the eligibility criteria demand either a four-year Bachelor’s degree or a Bachelor’s and Master’s combination totaling 16 years of formal education from an accredited university.
For the Ph.D. Degree Program, desired individuals will have a Master’s, M.Phil, or comparable degree (a minimum of 18 years of formal education) from an accredited university.
Females, disabled persons, and students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, AJK, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Northern Sindh, and Southern Punjab are highly encouraged to apply.

The online applications are required through the USEFP website at www.usefp.org. Desired students may Apply Online by submitting scanned copies of educational certificates and relevant documents till April 12th, 2023.
